The Aria Hotel and Casino has been approved licensing by the Nevada Gaming Commission regulators.
The beautiful Aria is set for its grand opening on December 16, 2009 as part of the $8.5 billion dollar CityCenter project on the Las Vegas Strip.
In a special meeting held by the Nevada Gaming Commission last Thursday the gaming license was granted by every member of the board in a unanimous vote.
The Commission found that the partners involved with Aria, MGM Mirage and Dubai World have met every expectation required of them to manage CityCenter which will be greeting its guest into its doors in a matter of days.
The hearing took a total of two hours during which the executives were questioned by the regulators about their casino operations, the business relationship of the partnership and financial matters.
Not only did the Aria receive their gaming license, but CityCenter received another two LEED Gold certifications last month for the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas and Veer Towers.
These certifications of LEED Gold standards have given CityCenter the achievement of being the world's largest sustainable commercial project.
