Pass: A win
Punto: A player
Push: A bet that is neither a winner nor a loser – the bet is kept back until the following round
Shills: A female casino worker, used to attract people to the baccarat table
Shoe: An automatic card dealing machine that ensures no accidents in the dealing process
Shooter: The bank
Shuffle Up: Premature shuffling of the cards by the dealer
Standoff: When the player and the bank are tied
Upcard: The face up card
