Betting Odds: Some Serious Teams Get Ready to Compete at the 2010 FIFA World Cup

The 2010 FIFA World Cup is just starting to heat things up and the best is yet to come. Tomorrow is going to be a day to remember as the highly anticipated games begin between Portugal and the Ivory Coast as well as Brazil and North Korea.
Many who are watching the matchups are calling Group G the ‘Group of Death' as it contains some of the best teams in the sport including Brazil, who is the top favorite to win the World Cup, Portugal, Ivory Coast and North Korea.
Only two of the extremely talented teams will continue on to the finals. Many believe that Brazil is a definite yes for making it through to the final 16, but it will be a close call between Ivory Coast and Portugal for the final spot as they are both fierce teams.
Right now it looks like Portugal is the best bet for claiming that last spot with odds being offered at Bwin, WilliamHill, Bodog and VictorChandler of 11/10.
The Ivory Coast is competing in their second World Cup with their last being in 2006. At VictorChandler, betters can find odds of 5/2 and at WilliamHill and Bwin they can find 13/5 odds for the South African team.
Should a draw result with either of these teams, it wouldn't be such a bad thing as WilliamHill and VictorChandler are offering odds of 11/5 if the games are tied. PaddyPower and Bodog are also offering some pretty nice odds should the game result in a draw with odds of 9/4.
