Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG has announced the launch of a new app that will allow bettors at Bwin.com to place wagers on a wide variety of games using their Apple iPhone. The new Bwin Live service is currently available to bettors in the UK and Austria via the Apple's iTunes Store and it is expected to be released in more countries in the coming months.

"Thanks to Bwin Live, Bwin.com customers now get to place bets on their iPhone using an intuitive user interface, check on the status of the bets they have placed and retrieve a detailed list of their bets," said Berthold Kao, President of Product Management RNG and Mobile for Bwin Interactive Entertainment.

Bwin already offers an iPhone app for its poker, casino, and table games customers and now to compliment their offerings the company has also announced that they have just released a version of Blackjack that is specifically designed for Android and iPhones.

"For a long time now, Bwin has been committed to mobile products for betting, poker, casino and games," said Kao. "With the new web applications for the popular smartphone platforms Android and iOS, we want to give the growing number of Bwin.com customers with smartphones the option of making optimal mobile use of the Bwin product range as well."
