While his former wife Evelyn Lozada lives lavishly on the new hit show Basketball Wives, Former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker has filed for bankruptcy.
At the height of his career, Antoine Walker spent around $78,000 a month on general living expenses and the caretaking of his extensive family. Walker's flashy lifestyle often lead him to play cards with Michael Jordan at around $15,000 a hands and gamble on high-stakes blackjack at the Mohegan Sun.
However, since acquiring a massive Vegas gambling debt last year, Walker's life has been falling in a downward spiral.
Walker was accused of writing 10 bad checks for casino markers totaling $1 million last July. Luckily for him, a Las Vegas court delayed criminal charges and agreed to a payment plan.
Fast forward six months and now Antoine Walker has filed for bankruptcy after his liabilities have increase to $12.7 million compared to his $4.2 million worth of assets.
In the bankruptcy petition, Walker says he is unemployed and without any monthly income.
From his total liabilities, Walker owes $770,000 to Harrah's Casino and $500,000 to Ameristar Casino in East Chicago, Indiana.
The petition also lists a $646,900 gambling debt in 2008 and 2009, and shows that Nazr Mohammed, center with the Charlotte Bobcats, paid $10,000 earlier this year to the law firm now representing Walker in the bankruptcy case.
Walker, a three-time NBA All-Star and NBA championship winner, earned an estimated $110 million and a NBA championship ring during his 13-years of playing professional basketball.
Miss B says: I wonder if Antoine Walker pays his ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada, alimony. I've seen her on Vh1's Basketball Wives and she's living the life of Riley.
