PKR.com and the Fox Poker Club in London are teaming up to bring players a series of live tournament events. Entitled the London Calling festival the series will consist of 57 events over the course of 28 days.

Events will cover a number of different variations of the game including Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and HORSE. It will run from October 11th to November 7th and there will be a special leader board element to the series in which players can exchange tournament points for entry into exclusive freeroll tournaments on PKR.com.

"It's been our ambition to put on an event like this for some time and we're delighted that London now has the perfect venue in which to do so," said Marketing Director for PKR.com, Simon Prodger, in a recent press release.

The majority of the events will feature affordable buy-ins in the £20 to £100 range. It is the site's hope that these buy-ins will attract a larger number of players to the event and ultimately to the site itself.

"With regular buy-ins ranging from £20, London Calling is for the huge number of people who'd love to play a high-quality dealer dealt tournament but find most poker tours and festivals are too high for their bankroll."
