Slotland.com, one of the best places to play casino games online, has just dished out an incredible $83,979 jackpot payout to one very lucky player just one short month after the last major jackpot hit.

Marianne M, who plays under the handle, WYNDSTAR at the online casino, was ecstatic last Friday when she realized the massive amount of money she had won by playing her favorite video poker game, Striking 7s which has a minimum payout of $50,000 when hit.

Since all of the slots in the online casino are tied to one community jackpot, they grow rather quickly. Just last month another player managed to hit an incredible $146,000 jackpot while playing the flash based version of Lucky Ducts. "of course the jackpot can be won anytime but we usually go six to eight weeks between wins," remarked Michael Hilary if Slotland.com. "It didn't have time to get up to the $100,000 or $150,000 this time like it usually does but I'm sure the winner is happy just the same."

Marianne, who works for a toy store, has been playing at the casino regularly since March, 2009 so it was definitely her time to hit the big one. She told the casino that she really enjoys the unique game offerings at Slotland.com and that the wagering requirements on promotional bonuses are fair. She was also reported to have given away what she will be doing with her sudden surplus of cash- take a trip to South America and invest whatever is left.

"That night I actually logged on to Slotland.com to try the new Jewels of the Ancients game," said WYNDSTAR. "I'd just read in my Slotland.com newsletter that there was a promotion running with free bonus money available. I do like the new fame but after a while I felt like playing cards instead of slots so I switched to my favourite video poker game, Striking 7s. I like its double feature where I can take a chance at multiplying my win."

It sounds like Marianne is head over heels about this whole thing and for good reason. We here at Casinofan would like to extend our congratulations to her. Have a fabulous time in South America!

Each weekend, lucky Bodog Casino players win tens of thousands of dollars and this week was no exception. Janet W. of Texas was this weekend's top winner. She won $16,080 playing the classic three-wheel slots favorite, Sevens and Stripes. She wasn't the only big winner though.

The Bodog Beat reported that at least six other players earned five figure payouts this weekend and surprisingly many of them were not even playing slots games. Gregory W. of New York for example won $13,002 playing Blackjack this weekend and Arthur H. of New York and Matt G. of Texas won upwards of $11,300 playing Caribbean Hold'em. That isn't to say that slots players didn't make up a good portion of the top 10 Maria C. of Florida won $13,084 playing Gold in Bars and Scott R. of California earned $11,320 on the Aztecs Treasures slots game.

Bodog Casino is known for their regular five figure payouts and now they are making it easier than ever to win big. Throughout the month players can take part in a special Snowgirl giveaway where $1,000 will be up for grabs each and every day. Simply spend $10 or more on the daily slot and you will automatically be entered into a special drawing for $1,000.

What are you waiting for? Start and account today and start wagering on all of your games. Who knows, you may just be the next big winner we talk about.

altA ridiculous scam email recently made headlines at Gambling911.com. The email which was claimed to have been written by a former undercover agent who worked for the one of the world's largest secret service organizations, promised to refund any deposits ever made at Internet casinos. It asked players to send their personal information to the author and fill out an application on the writer's "secure" website which would send them money from frozen banks accounts all across the world.

To say that the email is laughable would definitely be an understatement. Not only is it's story unimaginative but its promise is implausible. There is no way that a player could expect to instantly receive all the money they gambled at online casinos or even expect an organization to know where and how much they spent in the first place. In order to confirm that a player gambled at such sites they would of course ask to gain access to your bank account and casino account information and once they have that there is no stopping them from doing whatever they want with your information.

Any player that would foolishly go along with such a plan would surely deserve what they have coming but just in case some of our readers are unaware of what a scam looks like we'd like to tell you right now. Never give out your personal or bank account information online especially if you can't be certain of the authenticity of the person asking for it!

Apparently, the online sportsbook, Skybook.com was having some difficulty paying a player that was owed quite a bit of money. The online sports betting firm has been well established in the industry, but has been going through hard times lately.

They have been a trusted site until recently being known for being slow paying to some of their clients. One operator who wishes to remain anonymous reported that, “They are really having a tough time.”

Here is an email from BettorsWorld.com regarding the client in question:

“A payout request was made from Skybook on September 15th, 2009. To their credit, they were able to make a partial payment over the course of 2 ½ months. However, have been unable to make a final $4500 payment.”

Fortunately, the player in question finally received his final installment on the money he was owed for months. Here is the follow up Bettorsworld.com issued after the remaining money was paid to the SkyBook client:

“Just as we owe it to all of you to report negative situations concerning sportsbooks, we also owe it to you, and the sportsbooks, to report the positives.

We recently reported to our subscribers about a slow pay situation involving SkyBook. The payouts were requested in September and were not completed as of mid December, leaving us no other choice but to alert out subscribers.

We are happy to report that the final leg of this payout has now been completed. Paid in full.

We want nothing more than for ALL sportsbooks to be solid financially. The more good sportsbooks there are, the better it is for the players.”
