Mixed Martial Arts fans prepare yourselves for one of the biggest events of the year. On September 25th the UFC will host UFC 119: Mir vs Cro Cop. A classic grappler vs. striker matchup, the stakes in the Main Event have never been higher for the two athletes who both look to move closer to the coveted UFC heavyweight championship.
Heavy weight legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira was originally scheduled to fight in the match but he was forced to take a break from the league because of knee surgery. Mirko Cro Cop who resurrected his career with back-to-back finishes against Anthony Perosh and Pat Barry earlier this year quickly stepped up to take Nogueira's place in the lime light. Since Cro Cop and Mir have such different fighting styles it should definitely be interesting to see who comes out on top.
Bodog is currently taking bets on all the fights leading up to the finale so there will be plenty of chances for sports fans to turn a profit and win back their pay per view money.
