Steve Wynn recently added another hotel and casino complex to his ever growing portfolio. Encore at Wynn Macau opened early yesterday with a flurry of fireworks.

The new casino sits directly opposite of Wynn’s other casino complex in the area mirroring his two adjacent properties on the Las Vegas strip.

Though Encore is connected to the main Wynn hotel and casino in Macau they are two totally separate entities with separate casinos.

The hotel and casino complex has a total of 414 suites and villas that offer tasteful elegance in a comfortable, residential setting. It features a nice range of exclusive shops such as Chanel, Cartier and Piaget. It also features six on site restaurants, a 205,000 square foot casino hall and a serene Spa that offers treatments in eight private therapy suites.

The new Wynn hotel and casino is just the latest luxury casino to open in the city. Two more are expected to open in the near future the much delayed Ritz-Carlton Studio City is expected to open sometime this year and the Mandarin Oriental casino is scheduled to open its doors this summer. With so many new properties opening it won’t be long before Macau firmly establishes itself as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
