Last month, G2E held a gaming expo in which one of the newest video slot machines, Sex in the City, received high reviews. The slot machine is now being spotted in Las Vegas casinos for players everywhere to experience for themselves. The IGT slot machine has been installed in nine casinos so far and more are set to get the special slot machine which tributes the popular HBO television series.
Sex and the City is a multi-level progressive slot machine and is the first of the Mega Jackpots machines to provide a MultiPlay feature. In this feature, players can spin the reels to play up to four games all at the same time, each with a different outcome all on the same slot machine.
When the game was debuted earlier last month, Sex and the City star, Chris Noth met with fans at the IGT booth for the game during the gaming expo. The game has been a huge hit right from the very beginning of its release according to IGT Vice President of MegaJackpots, Tom Mikulich.
"We knew this game was a winner from the start," Mikulich said. "Our game development team made sure the slot was absolutely true to the ‘Sex in the City' brand-right down to the shoes and cosmos. And simply put, this game is fun. Players are going to love it and our customers will too."
There are four interactive bonus games with short video clips of their favorite scenes from the actual TV series and an opportunity for players to hit five different progressives. The fun clips are specific to the theme of each separate bonus game and include Sex in the City goodies including shoes, fashion, jewelry and more.
To add an especially unique element to the Sex and the City Slot Machine, Chris Noth's character himself is featured in the game and players will hear him talk them through each of the four bonus games and event congratulate them upon winning a spin by saying, "Hey kid, that was well done." In addition to his character, players will also be surrounded in exclusive Sex in the City sound effects, complete with the entertaining theme song complete with the entire IGT surround sound chair experience.
The slot machine has 30 paylines and players can wager up to three credits per payline, per game for a total of up to 600 credits per spin of the reels. Players can expect to hit a bonus round per every 25 spins of the reels when all four games are being played. Players could possibly even hit the bonus round on all four games at the same time!
