A 58 year old cancer survivor from Caerleon, South Wales won a life changing sum of money when he had the winning numbers of the EuroMillions lottery last week. Now Les Scadding and his wife, Samantha Peachey-Scadding, 38 are £45.5 million dollars richer. The testicular cancer survivor has been unable to find employment for almost a year now and was carrying a negative bank account balance of £68. The win came at the perfect time for the couple who are completely overwhelmed by their instant fortune. His wife said that they weren’t able to sleep ever since they found out that they had the winning numbers on Saturday. “I’m very lucky to be hare, having suffered with cancer,” Mr. Scadding said. I think somebody decided I have got to wait until now because I’m going to win the lottery.” This was the UK’s biggest ever lottery prize and the Scadding’s couldn’t be more deserving of the money. “I have never, ever, in my whole life owned a new car,” he said. “I’m going to buy one now.” Now that he has won this money he will be able to enjoy life even more as he and his wife can now live a comfortable lifestyle and be able to pay off their debts.
