The UK’s leading authority on responsible gambling comes out to support Players and Poker in the Park
16 July 2009 (London, UK) – Poker In The Park is proud to announce the endorsement of GamCare for this year’s festival in Leicester Square, London. Running August 13 & 14, Europe’s biggest poker festival will attempt to educate as well as entertain poker enthusiasts therefore, it’s appropriate that GamCare be on hand to offer leaflets and advice on the merits of responsible gambling.
GamCare, a registered charity, is the leading national authority on the provision of advice, practical help, support and counselling to address the social impact of gambling. The non-profit organisation takes a non-judgemental approach to gambling. GamCare’s aims are to:

GamCare will have a booth at Poker in the Park offering information and advice to anyone who is interested.
