Slots enthusiasts will be happy to know that the wait for the second annual World Series of Slots in nearly over. The Golden Nugget Casino will be hosting the event this April 16-18^th and $250,000 in prizes will be rewarded to the top 350 participants. The entry fee for the tournament is $599 which includes admission into the tournament, $100 for food and drinks during the event and a welcome reception with two continental breakfasts. In addition, entrants will qualify for reduced rates for accommodations at the Golden Nugget.

This especially rare breed of slots tournament will be held over a two day period in which the most avid slots players will battle it out during the several elimination rounds. After each round, cash prizes will be rewarded and all entrants will receive at least $200 just for participating without even having to move on to the next round.

"Last year, we had a phenomenal response for the inaugural World Series of Slots event-not only from enthusiastic slot players, but from numerous table players and even some hotel guests who were gaming novices but decided to join in on the exciting festivities and the chance to win $100,000," said Mike Leonard, the senior vice president of Golden Nugget casino marketing and operations. "We hope to build on the success and popularity of last year's tournament and for many years to come."
