The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino has added another prized artifact to their collection of musical memorabilia. Back in 1996, Michael married Debbie Rowe while wearing the white glove. While performing at the premiere of "Ghosts" in Australia, he threw the glove to a man in the audience whose name is Bill Hubble. When Bill Hubble passed away, his mother decided to put it up for auction where it was purchased by Warwick Stone for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. He purchased the glove for a whopping $49,000 which came as a shock to the auction house Bonham's and Goodman's. They thought the glove would only sell for about half that amount. "There was a huge amount of interest in the week leading up to the sale. We were still pretty surprised by the price," said Charlotte Stanes, from the auction. This is the first of Michael Jackson's gloves to be auctioned since his death. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino now has a really nice new piece to add to their collection of some of the most historical memorabilia. Michael Jackson's glove will fit right between Elvis Presley's boating cap and John Lennon's electric chord organ.
