New York Governor, David Patterson faced yet another public scandal yesterday when his fifteen year old son, Alex Patterson, was caught shooting dice with a group of teenagers near his school. In a strange turn of events when they asked for proper identification, officers found a stranger's debit card in the adolescent's possession.
Officer's say Patterson's son as well as a number of other teenagers were issued juvenile reports for loitering with the purpose of gambling but were not charged criminally and will not have to appear in court.
Many political analysts including Hank Sheinkopf have gone on the record to say they doubt that the event could worsen Patterson's already low approval rating but the governor himself asks only for privacy "during this personal time." Further details of the event are still filtering in.
