Bodog and Bookmaker have both switched over to foreign extensions. Bookmaker didn't have much choice in the matter since several of the company's prize domain names were snatched away by US authorities on Monday, but Bodog has switched to Bodog.eu simply as a pre-emptive measure. Just a few of Bookmaker's brands that were seized on Monday include DoylesRoom.com, TruePoker.com, FunTimeBingo.com, and BetDSI.com. At the time of this article being written, both DoylesRoom and True Poker were back up and running via the .ag extension.
Those who try to visit Bodog.com will be met with the message, "The website and all of our services remain the same, only our home base has changed as we continue to expand into new markets." At this time, Bodog continues to offer services to US players.
Bookmaker services will also continue to run as usual though they will no longer be accepting US players. Those who had money on their accounts at the time of the seizures are told that they can be rest assured that their money is safe and that it will be returned to them as soon as possible.
The only other major gaming network affected by the seizures is BetED. They had nothing to say on the matter.
As always, stay tuned to Casinofan for more news and updates.
