PlayNow.com has found another glitch this time in favor of their members. New players who register with the site prior to October 5th are eligible for a $100 deposit bonus which features the typical wagering requirements one would expect from an online casino. This is where the glitch comes in, many players have found that they could cash out the bonus money after placing just one or two bets on Baccarat.
According to a spokesperson for the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) the glitch is intentional but as any good business person would tell you it's highly unlikely that is the case.
"I can't imagine this was a marketing ploy. To spend almost $100 to get a customer and hope they wouldn't cash out...there are cheaper ways to do it, [such as] buy a Google ad," said online marketer, Todd Maffin mirroring the opinion of many in the industry.
Since its launch PlayNow.com has suffered a myriad of issues from lack of servers to accidentally leaking customer's private information. It seems far more likely that BCLC officials are too embarrassed to admit that they've made yet another mistake but at least players get to take advantage of their wounded egos this time.
Posters at many popular casino forums claim to have taken advantage of the glitch and cashed in their winnings. If you are one of the lucky ones please let us know by sharing your story.
