Bruce Willis has signed on to star in gambling film Lay The Favorite, Take the Dog. The upcoming movie which is based on memoirs by Beth Raymer tells the tale of her rise from cocktail waitress to top sports bookmaker during the gambling boom of the late 90s. The film is being produced by Focus Films, the script was written by D.V. Devincentis and Steven Frears is slated to direct. Other high profile celebs rumored to be casted for the film include Justin Timberlake and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
When the project was first announced, Raymer's memoir hadn't even finished publishing. The book which was released in June of 2010 has received very good overall ratings. The Los Angeles Times said, "Seduced by her stories, we long for this strange, sleazy and alluring landscape, even as the stakes get higher and Raymer's search for ‘the best of it' turns into a worst-case scenario. With a film adaptation in the works, it's a safe bet that Raymer's memoir will find a wide audience. In fact, her engaging voice makes her a shoe-in for a sequel. I'm setting the odds at 3 to 1."
It may be a little too soon to be speaking of sequels but we expect great things from the film. It will begin filming in April and should hit theatres some time in 2012.

I was wondering about the Dior shoes for sale audiobook. Having guest stars would help break up any non-fiction audiobook, that's a good idea.
