The Reading Area Community College in Pennsylvania has announced that it will be offering an online casino course. The new course will cover table games in the online casino world and will be a PC at home option to students.

Table games have been on the rise in Pennsylvania and the hope is that students taking online casino courses will be able to work at nearby casinos in an online or live capacity. With more then 4,460 jobs newly created in the industry and a 18% hike in casino revenue for the state it makes sense that school officials would try and include some sort of casino education in their curriculum.

Reading is the first U.S. community college to offer an online casino course but they aren't likely to be last. Over the past decade internet gambling has become a booming international industry and the advent of live dealers has created has even more jobs for those looking for a way to get in on the action. The new course will focus on where the industry is headed and how to students can gain employment even if the U.S. does not choose to legalize online casinos in the near future.
