Legendary magician Criss Angel made another huge donation to charity in honor of his birthday. This year, he donated $1 million in magic kits to the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club to bring smiles and a little magic to the lives of children in need.
Angel who is a headline magician at the Luxor Casino in Las Vegas and a popular TV personality, has given back to the world through big charity donations on his birthday since he rose to fame on his hit show "Mindfreak" back in the early 2000s. The magic kits will just mark the start of his online "Magic Jam Initiative" in which he will give needy kids live online help with magic and provide counseling for problems that arise from failing health and poverty. 150,000 kits will be given away this month and the online program will launch next year. The program will take place every Saturday afternoon and will include guest appearances from popular magicians from around the world.
"I think we can really use magic in a way never attempted before to inspire these children, help rally their self-confidence and even help them develop social skills," Criss told Vegas Deluxe. "This is a national effort, not just here in Las Vegas. I know we can give them a true passion."
