One lucky Trenton won $7.3 million on a slot machine at Harrah's casino on Monday. The winner who chose to remain anonymous and would not speak to reporters is a long time regular at the casino. He told casino officials that he plans to buy a 1967 Camaro and share the rest of the money with his extended family and friends since he has no family of his own.
Known only as "Tom" the lucky winner was playing on a Wheel of Fortune slots game in the Diamond Cove section of the casino when the bells and whistles started and $7,355,831.73 flashed up on the slot. As you can imagine he was overjoyed to realize that he had struck the casinos progressive slot machine jackpot and that he was essentially set for life.
"This is an unforgettable day at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City as we celebrate our 30th anniversary with the second largest jackpot payout in our casino and resort's history," said Harrah's vice president, Jay Snowden. "We have some of the most loyal customers in the world, and it is even more rewarding that this jackpot winner has been a patron to our casino and part of the Harrah's family for 30 years."
Tom may have asked for his identity to be kept a secret but with so many clues out there, it wouldn't be surprising if many in the area know already who he is. We here at Casinofan would certainly like to extend our congratulations. As always, stay tuned to Casinofan for more news and updates.
