Online casino players received some sad news this morning. English Harbour New Ventures Inc. (EHV) has announced that they will no longer be accepting new players. The group which was founded in 1997 is an industry pioneer and one of the first online casino groups to offer real money gambling. Over the years they have provided services to more than 5 million players the world over via their popular online casinos; English Harbour Casino, Slots Galore Casino, VIP Slots Casino, Millionaire Casino, Silver Dollar Casino, Caribbean Gold Casino, Super Slots Casino, and others.

Existing English Harbour players will be relieved to hear that their accounts are still safe and accessible with the casino said to be focusing on retention. Players will still be able to play all of their favorite games without any issues and everything should be business as usual despite the recent turn in events. Little is known about what will happen in the long run, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that no existing players will become affected by the changes.

We contacted English Harbour in an attempt to figure out what their reasoning was behind the decision to stop accepting new players but unfortunately they were very close lipped regarding the matter. Our best guess is that the group wishes to steer clear of the mess surrounding the US and the recent poker indictments. They are most likely protecting their current players to insure no problems arise. At this time we are still looking into the matter.
