EwalletXpress Stops Transactions for US Online Casino Players

altEwalletXpress has announced that they have ceased processing transactions between players in the United States and gambling websites. American users may have noticed last Friday that they were unable to make a deposit using ewalletXpress and may have passed it off as technical difficulties since no official announcement was made. But to their disappointment, it appears that an email has been sent out by the company although it has not been confirmed.

"We regret to inform you that we are no longer able to continue service at this time due to a federal warrant issued to seize our funds," reads the email.

This is very bad news since it's likely that any money American's had on the website may soon be in the hands of the American government. If this is the case, it may be a long time before any of the site's American users will see their money again. As of this article being written, no Americans have been allowed to withdraw any money from their ewallet accounts. It is likely they will receive their funds directly from the owners sometime in the comings months.

EwalletXpress was used by many players to make deposits on the Cake and Merge poker networks. Now that the service is no longer available, players will have to look for a new method of making deposits. It looks like the company has yet to inform players of the exact facts behind the sudden closure. Players inquiring about their money have been told the site is experiencing "technical difficulties" and would not answer any further questions.

As always, stay tuned to Casinofan for more news and updates.

I have learned that the information was inaccurate about the mass email being sent out to players. It looks as though the email was sent to a select number of casino operators but it's not confirmed. I have changed the article to reflect a more accurate account of what's going on. I apologize for the misinformation.
