Realtime Gaming (RTG) has released a new American football themed slots game entitled Fruit Bowl XXV.

It features symbols which in many ways could be considered comical with fruity characters dress in football gear in addition to normal football symbols like footballs, trophies, tickets and a stadium. The scatter symbol is of course the Fruits Bowl XXV Logo.

When three or more scatter symbols appear on the reels the Fruit Bowl feature is triggered. This feature combines a bonus game with a free spins feature allowing players to win double the bonuses in a single spin. The bonus game asks players to attempt to bypass four opponents by either dodging left, dodging right or by ducking. For every opponent players successfully dodge they will be awarded five free spins and a multiplier that increases by 1. If they get tackled however their attempt at earning free spins end there.

The awarded free spins are then played out and multiplied by the multiplier at the end of the bonus game. During the free spins round scatter symbols award scatter payouts a feature that is unavailable in the main game. If three or more scatter symbols appear on the reels during the free spins round then five additional free spins will be awarded.
