Lately the cause for concern over the Grande Prive Group of online casinos has been increasing and for good reason. For the past two years the group has been having difficulties with annoyed affiliates and a rocky relationship with players. In a desperate attempt to repair the damage, Grande Prive casinos were hastily switched to a new software provider over the Easter weekend. It seems as though the group of online casinos was a bit too late to make up for their recent issues as the Kahnawake Gaming Commission has officially suspended their gaming license.
The Kahnawake Gaming Commission issued the following advisory on Tuesday:
"The Kahnawake Gaming Commission advises that it has suspended the Client Provider Authorization ("CPA") held by Maricass International Holdings Inc. ("Maricass"). The suspension is effective immediately and affects the following sites (sometimes known as the "Grand Prive group"):
www.bellavegas.com
www.bigdollar.com
www.casinograndbay.com
www.fortunejunction.com
www.grandbaycasino.com
www.jackpotwheel.com
www.jupiterclub.com
www.kasinograndbay.com
www.lakepalace.com
www.roadhousereels.com
The Commission has taken this action due to Maricass' failure to file a Material Change Report, advising the Commission that it had recently changed software suppliers. While its CPA is under suspension, Maricass is not authorized to operate any of the aforementioned sites (or any other sites under its control) from Kahnawake and the Commission is not responsible for these sites should they continue to operate from another jurisdiction.
In the event Maricass does not take immediate steps to remedy its failure to file a Material Change Report and obtain the Commission's approval for its new software, its CPA will be revoked.

Prior to last weekend, Grande Prive was operating under the Microgaming Network. It seems as though the proper steps weren't taken to notify the KGC, eCOGRA or its previous platform of the change, which led to the suspension. Rumor has it that the group may now be operating under a license from Netherlands Antilles.
