Five time WSOP bracelet winner and highest earning Italian poker player of all time Jeffrey Lisandro has signed a sponsorship deal with Matchbook.com. Lisandro will act as a worldwide ambassador for the site and will don the company's logo when he competes in events around the world.
"I'm truly delighted to be part of Matchbook," Lisandro said in a press release. "I'm looking forward to representing the brand on my travels around the world. My first competitive stop as an Ambassador is the World Series Of Poker where I'll be announcing a whole range of exclusive poker markets at Matchbook.com. I am hungry for more bracelets, I plan to play as much as possible and if the cards fall my way I am confident I can add more titles at WSOP 2011".
Andrew Pantling, a representative for Matchbook.com, commented on the new agreement saying, "We are thrilled to have signed Jeff as an Ambassador for our Betting Exchange. He was always one of our key targets, ever since the famous tale of the prop bet challenge laid down by Daniel Negreanu and Erick Lindgren in which he won millions betting on himself and Barry Greenstein."
"We want to give people the opportunity to share Jeffrey's success at the WSOP and other tournaments on the poker circuit by laying down several new markets in our new poker section."
Matchbook.com is offering a wide range of bets on this year's World Series of Poker. Players can bet on whether or not Lisandro will win a bracelet, how many people will enter the Main Event, the age of the main event winner, and a whole lot more.
