 Mahjong Logic was pleased to announce recently that they have signed a sponsorship deal with the European Mahjong Association (EMA) for the World Mahjong Championship (WMC) hosted by the Dutch Mahjong Association in Utrecht, Netherland.
The event will run from August 27th to the 29th and will feature 220 contenders from across the globe pitting their skills and endurance up against the best of the best.
The leading developer of mahjong software will be the main sponsor for this year's event. As part of the deal one of the network's partner's brands will be visible on prints and promotions throughout the venue.
CEO of Mahjong Logic Ltd., Jonas Alm, recently released a statement about the venture. "It is a pleasure for us to contribute to the 2010 World Mahjong Championship. We are proud to be associated with the dedicated and ambitious WMC organization and we want to support them by signing up as main sponsor to this important event."
As a promotion of this partnership the site has organized a number of tournaments in which players could win a seat to the WMC along with a travel package for two.
