Man Dies After Being Shot by Robber at Casino

altStefon Clark, 21, was arrested and charged with murder with a deadly weapon and robbery following the shooting of a 30 year-old man who was rushed out of the Opera House Casino in North Vegas last week only to succumb to his wounds.

"If it were legal for law abiding citizens to carry weapons into the casinos, it may have been the criminal who lost his life, rather than the innocent," stated observer Dan T. "Criminals don't care about the law, so the ban doesn't exactly effect them."

It appears that another murder also occurred two hours prior to the shooting in the same area. Authorities do not believe that there is any connection between the two but this writer can see one connection quiet clearly, security in both respects was lacking.

Thankfully for our readers, online gambling is much safer than gambling at land-based casinos. Players can enjoy their favorite games from the comfort of their homes with no fear that a big win will make them a target for opportunistic criminals.

Hopefully, North Vegas will get their act together and implement laws that will further protect their visitors. While it is true that they caught the first robber quickly, the other criminal still remains at large.

In the mean time, you can play Vegas style casino games at home by playing at one of Casinofan.com's certified casinos below. We'll keep you posted on any further developments.
