Soccer star Mario Balotelli showed some serious generosity this weekend. According to The Sun, Balotelli won £25,000 playing at the casino and after his win he walked outside and handed a homeless man £1,000 just for being in the right place at the right time.

The Sun quoted an unnamed source as saying, "Mario is really generous. He always hands £20 notes to the Big Issue boys without even taking the magazine. There's a guy he always sees around town with ginger dreadlocks and a beard. He carries his possessions in two carrier bags.

"He was outside the club in the early hours so Mario handed him a wad of notes after his big win. The tramp couldn't believe his luck. It was enough to keep him going for months."

The news surprised many in the sports community since Balotelli has a garnered a bad reputation over the years for his off-the-pitch antics. We hope that this story will encourage others to see the good in people and inspire some of you to help someone in need when you win big at the casino.
