Swedish online gaming operators Diamond Bet and Tell Gaming have announced a merger. The two will now function under the Diamond Bet brand and will offer its players more games, bigger jackpots and richer tournaments than ever before.
"We will continue to run Diamond Bet in the same spirit as Tell Gaming has been run," said Diamond Bet Chief Executive Officer Alexander Stevendahl as he made the announcement. "Our focus will not only be on continuing its appreciated and swift support but also to make sure that players get the best value when it comes to promotions and campaigns."
Tell Gaming was well known for its popular Liga Football sports betting pool which will now be available as a separate portal through the Diamond Bet website. Similar to fantasy football, Liga Football allows players to select their own eleven-member dream team from the English Premier League. It costs €11 to enter and each team is awarded points based on the results of the season's matches the better your team's "results" the more money you can ultimately make as the season progresses.
Diamond Bet on the other hand is best known for its Diamond Academy online poker school. Headed by Andreas Hurtig the site claims that it is one of the fastest and most enjoyable ways to transform mediocre players into truly successful ones. Due to the merger Tell Gaming players will now have access to the academy as well as the ability to participate in much larger poker tournaments including as the weekly €100,000 guaranteed and monthly €5,000 reload bonus freeroll.
Since both casinos are powered by Microgaming all of their casinos' games will continue to be available. This includes all of their progressive jackpots including the ever popular Mega Moolah progressive slots game and such video slots games as Thunderstruck II and The Lord of the Rings.
