altMGM Resorts International was under investigation following a tweet from Michael Jordan's son Marcus Jordan. Marcus bragged about partying at a Las Vegas Strip nightclub on Twitter and officials were examining whether or not the casino operator violated laws prohibiting drinking or gambling by minors.

On August 20th Marcus, tweeted that he spent $35,000 at the Haze nightclub at Aria Resorts & Casino. "Last night was stupid ... 35K at Haze. Totals 50K something the whole day," read the University of Central Florida sophomore's tweet.Since then Marcus has come out to tell the media that the tweet was a mistake. "I didn't mean it the way it came across," he said. "My family and friends know the type of person I am."

Marcus has since removed the notorious tweet from his twitter account but a video posted by his brother Jeffrey Jordan has not helped matters. 21-year-old Jeffrey posted a video via Twitter that showed him and his brother hanging out at the Liquid Pool Lounge an adults-only area. People under the age of 21 often try to gamble and drink in Las Vegas but legally it is up to casino operators to stop them. The punishment for allowing minors to take part in adult activities varies but usually cases attract far less media attention then this one.

Should the Nevada Gaming Control Board find an issue with MGM they could very well throw the book at them. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
