 The Oasis has become the newest edition to the Gold Spike Hotel and Casino. The new boutique adds 50 rooms to the casino's offerings and will provide some of the best room rates in downtown Las Vegas.
The property was formerly a Travel Inn but it has been totally revamped. All the rooms at The Oasis have been completely renovated from head to toe. New furniture and fixtures have been added, including such electronic goodies as 32-inch flat-screen TVs and iPod docking alarm clocks. Each of the suites is designed differently with varying amenities, such as stripper poles, pool tables and distinct furniture giving the hotel charm and unpredictability.
The Siegel Group which owns Gold Spike Hotel and Casino should be happy to have the added rooms. According to Siegel Group President Stephen Siegel the Gold Spike has been selling out its rooms on the weekends even before adding the Oasis rooms and has a recorded occupancy rate of nearly 85% midweek.
With room rates ranging from $39 per night to $199 per night it's no wonder the hotel is already receiving some rave reviews. "For a couple hundred bucks you can't get this anywhere," said Siegel.
