 The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino and The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino have released new smart phone versions of their websites. The sites are designed to encourage visitors to book a room with the hotel or make a dining or entertainment reservation while on the go. The sites will offer special mobile exclusive promotions and a text messaging service is currently in the works for frequent visitors.
We recognize that as smartphones become more ubiquitous, more people are using their cell phones as a means to access the Internet," said Alan Sanders, corporate emerging media project manager of The Venetian and Palazzo. He said that it was important for the hotels to provide people with a "mobile website that reflects the elegance and luxury of (both properties) on an easy-to-use interface."
The website will include all of the basic information of the regular website but it will load faster and be much easier for more mobile users to navigate. Visitors will also have the option to click-to-call the hotel making placing a reservation or asking a question easier than ever.
