Microgaming has announced that will be releasing a sequel to their ever popular Thunderstruck slot game sometime in May. Previews of the game are already up at select Microgaming online casinos. Many of the said casinos have announced promotions based on the game's release.
Thunderstruck II promises to be everything its prequel is and more. The preview states, "Prepare yourself for an experience fit for the Gods, and this is quite literally what Thunderstruck II is all about."
The game is set in the Norwegian mythological city of Asgard where the Gods rule. On the reel are a number of Gods including Thor, Valkyrie, Loki and Odin each of which have their own customized sounds. If the preview is any indication the graphics and sound effects for the game are actually quite brilliant in the fact that it fits in perfectly with the theme.
