Bob Stupak, or more often called Mr. Las Vegas, passed away at the age of 67 last Friday, September 25th of Leukemia. Stupak is most known for his quirky casino, Vegas World and for his million dollar wager on the Super Bowl XXIII which he ended up winning.
He also participated in several poker tournaments including the GSN series High Stakes Poker and the World Poker Tour. Stupak also won a bracelet at the WSOP. His total live poker tournament winning are estimated to be over $865,000.
Stupak invented "double exposure" blackjack, which is regularly seen in online casinos as well as land casinos today. This type of blackjack was played so that all the cards in a single deck were played before they were reshuffled.
