 BLUFF Magazine is teaming up with The V Foundation to raise money for the fight against cancer. The V Foundation Charity Poker Tournament will be hosted at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, NV on Wednesday 24th, 2010.
Already a number of celebrities are scheduled to be in attendance. A number of athletes will be at the table such as Jose Canseco, Richard Fuller and Aaron Hill. There will also be a number of actors and actress including Nicholas Gonzalez, Dante Basco, Mekhi Phifer and Katie Cassidy. As for poker professionals there will be plenty.
Antonio Esfandiari, Jeff Madsen, Joe Sebok, Adam "Roothlus" Levy, Erica Shoenberg, Liv Boeree, Tiffany Michelle, Maria Ho, Alex Outhred, and Lacey Jones are just some of the big named pros on board to make an appearance.
Buy-ins for the No Limit Hold'em event are set at $230 with $100 rebuy-ins. The eventual winner of the event will have a grant to The V Foundation made out in their name and will receive a small portion of the prize pool as well as a spot in an upcoming tournament.
Registration for the event has already. You can go to http://www.sportsidentity.com to reserve your seat. All Pre-registered guests will receive an invite to a complimentary Cocktail Hour from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Grand Sierra's Xtreme Sports Bar. The tournament starts at 7:00pm. Discounted suites are available but you need to get in fast.
